Why is it every time you turn off the power to your laptop you lose everything like your favorites your search engine and some data you had in Excel and so on?

There are two different ways to turn your laptop off. For you, the best method would probably be to hit the power button on your laptop rather than to hit the shut down option in your start menu. Unless there is an update or you need to sync files to a server, there is no real need for the complete shutdown. When you turn your laptop on again, everything you previously had open should still be there.
