Ice skates have less surface area in contact with the ice.
I'm a figure skater, and I think for most people who have never ice skated before, walking on frozen ice is easier, because you are use to walking, and you have more of you touching the ice, while in ice skating you only have the bottom of a blade
but the blade is sharp metal so it grabs the ice in a way shoes slip n slide on ice
It is so hard to walk on ice because unlike on cement, when you step on ice you do not create friction. This causes your feet to slide along the ice.
because its rough it doesn't let you glide easy like smooth ice thers lots of bums and dents that make you fall
cuz real ice is bumpy and in ice rinks the ice is always polished and smooth
Ice creates a very low friction surface which is very difficult to gain traction on.
What i think is, as there is less friction on a muddy road it is difficult to walk on it. Water has less friction, that is why usually we see cautions warning us not to walk on wet floor as we'll slip and fall, so when soil is in contact with water it reduces the friction of soil.
A walk. In the snow.
Always walk on yellow snow.
It is a very large lake, so it would not be easy to walk around it. There are also rivers going into it, which make it difficult.
they go to the Warehouse and buy snow shoes.
they have legs...
of course theres easy exercises to do. simply walk.
Not exactly, but sometimes it can become grayer.
You can always walk a penguin up a snow covered hill.
It is difficult to walk on an icy road, because your feet keep slipping on the ice.
Snow shoes, skis, or if daytime thaw has created a strong crust on the snow.
It's "easy" to walk on ground by comparison, because it's bloody near impossible to walk on air or water.
