It's not morally or ethically wrong, your ethics and morals are your own and set by you. How ever, it's socially taboo, meaning it's not widely accepted. And no the baby is most likely to be born fine. But after generations and generations, 10-20 generations. You and your siblings weaknesses, for example; A weak knee. May accumulate and grow into a stronger trait making the knee weaker and weaker. It's illegal because nobility was doing that during ancient times to keep the 'royal blood' within the familly. And it was causing alot of birthdefects. It's socially taboo because it's now become a traditions in our herritage to consider it wrong.
