It depends on what you mean by the term 'sexualize'. Typically sexualisation refers to making something sexual in character or becoming aware of sexuality, women are sexual beings so of course they will be sexual in nature and embrace their sexuality in a culture where for so long female sexuality was oppressed. Women do not sexualize themselves any more than men do.
