Why is it so allegedlly dangerous to fit a 177 cal gas ram into a 22 cal air rifle thanks in advance?
I had to come back to this question several times before I realized what you were asking. You are talking about a Nitro ram in place of a Spring piston. I looked up the Nitro piston for air rifles and found that the web page stated that it must be installed by the manufacture, but they give no reason as to why they must do it. It's probably some sort of legality for the manufacture and they don't want to be sued if you are injured installing the conversion. I don't think the issue is going from a .177 to a .22, it's the installation itself that appears to be the problem.
What is the value of a Deutshe Werke-Werk Erfurt 22Cal single shot rifle model 1 worth and what year was it made?
A gas ram performs the job of the spring in a conventional air rifle it is quieter produces less recoil and improves performance why is fitting a 177 Ram to a 22 air rifle allegedly dangerous?
In MOST states it is 18 to own any shoulder-fired weapon. In order to own what the military considers an assault rifle, you also have to have a Class 3 Federal Firearms Lisence, but some states and cities definition of an 'assault rifle' includes anything that looks dangerous and NO ONE is allowed to own one there.
I dont believe in all around hunting gun. It depends on the game you are after. a magnum .300 rifle would cover most of your hunting needs. A three way tie between a .22 rimfire rifle, a shotgun, and some kind of centerfire rifle that you shoot well. The combination on these three would do you well in most of the world. (but not for dangerous game, say in Africa.)
The Stevens Gallery no. 80 was made somewhere between 1906 and 1910. The exact date should be marked on the barrel of the rifle, it's in front of the sight on mine as Aug.23.06. Unfortunately, this rifle isn't much of a collectors item; just if it's in great condition. I had mine valued (in good condition) around $225. Good luck in getting money out of it. (Thanks to oldguns.net for more info on rifle) -Shadowman…
It's actually a J.C. Higgins sold by Sears in the early 50's, the 51 might have actually been the year they sometimes do models like that. In good condition it's $250 near the excellent to new $500+ I, firstname.lastname@example.org , have a rifle with Sears & Roebuck engraved on barrel. It has Belgion (mouser) bolt action 30-06. I'm looking for history of this sports rifle. Thanks
Very easy if you no what your doing i struggled with this for quite a while. You want your high powered rifle first. Basically keep dodging the thing and shoot it. after the high powered rifle runs out switch to the shot gun then the rifle and hand gun if you need it. Avoid the cross bow it takes to long to load! Gather health packs and ammo when you need it. Also if you…
