Why is it so hard to get any answer to questions about the Holy Ghost?

There have been so many teachings about the Holy Ghost that people are confused about exactly what it is. There are many references to "Holy Spirit" in both the Old Testament and the New Testament and it is not crystal clear if all the references are the same spirit. This is one teaching of the church that is not absolutely, beyond doubt, perfectly clear. the holy spirit is part of the trinity. god, jesus, holy spirit. the holy spirit speaks to you telling you how to live your life and helps you through things supporting the right decisions

Just as there is no evidence for the existence of God, so there is no evidence for the existence of the Holy Ghost. It is a matter of faith, and faith alone.

You can use a compass if there are ghost, ghost have an electric magnetic field that will make a compass spin so you can walk around with a compass or you can walk around with a recorder and try to capture evps (electric voice phenomena) and use that and ask questions to the ghost that you are trying to find and you can see if you get any voices back. they are both hard processes but if there is a ghost about normally your hair on the back of your neck will literally stand up

the bible does not record a single instance where any one was baptized "in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy ghost" however in acts 2.38 acts 8.12, acts 8.16, acts 10.48, and acts 19.5 people where baptized in the name of Jesus.the reason thy baptized in Jesus name was because thy understood that Jesus was the NAME of the father and the son and the holy ghost.

Yes, you must have the Holy Spirit of God in order to have the gift of discernment or any of the spiritual gifts, read 1Corinthians 12:1-11, because the Holy Spirit is one who actually gives spiritual gifts.

You can see it for yourself in those 612 references you have found for the word holy. Just glancing down the references I can see, 'holy conversation; holy convocation; holy men', and that in the first few references. And in the last few references there are, 'holy prophets and apostles; holy city; Holy Ghost'. And of course there are many more to be found; but the Bible does not give any more 'breakdown' of the 612 times 'holy' is used.
