it was necessary for the fact that we needed workers and hard ones for that matter the industrial revolution hadnt started and once it did we needed people that worked for less to wok the machines and fix what ever needed to be fix

labor helps establish an economy, balance it out, it basiclly pays for our economy if there is no labor our economy is down and if there is a alot of labor our economy won't be in a recession.
