Pain is the body's way of saying '' STOP DOING THAT OR AT LEAST FIND AN ALTERNATE WAY OF DOING IT!! '' . Basically if you feel pain , it means your body is telling you that what your doing is causing your body damage. If the pain is excruciating then your body is under serious threat , if you feel slight pain there is 99% that you are not inflicting much damage to the body but it would still be wise to stop. Although this is true, there are ways to block pain through pills or medication such as morphine ibuprofen of even just calpol. Even so , in life threatening cases like bullet or stabbing wounds, blocking pain doesn't solve everything. It just prevents discomfort but we have doctors (my future occupation ) to keep us from dying so don't worry about thing that aren't worth worrying about. Enjoy life because if you don't you will regret it!

I hope my information was of some use to you !

Feeling pain is very important, both as a physical feeling and an emotion. Being able to sense pain is a way for our body to protect itself. Say a child puts their hand on a lit candle. The pain the child feels in their hand tells them to pull it away, because the flame is going to cause them harm. If they could not feel that pain, they would not know that the flame could harm them. Feeling emotional pain helps a person appreciate happiness, and it makes the person stronger and wiser.

It is a survival mechanism. When something is wrong, pain allows the body to react and avoid pain. If you didn't feel pain, you wouldn't know to move away from a fire that was burning you, or avoid sharp objects. You could back into a knife and not know it, get cut really badly and bleed to death and never know it.
