It has something do with a bit of physics. see usually the perfume or deo is in compressed form in their containers at high pressures , so when they do come out to atmospheric pressures the perfume has to expand. In order to do this it has to push the air out of its way which consumes energy. This energy is taken the "body" heat of the perfume itself thus cooling it. its basically how refrigeration works
When a deodorant is sprayed on the body, the spirit or some similar solvent used in it evaporates very fast due to its low boiling point. In this process of evaporation, the deodorant needs latent heat of evaporation. As the deodorant is in direct touch with the skin, and the skin is generally warmer than the rest of the environment, most of the latent heat of evaporation is taken by the evaporating deodorant from the skin. The rate of absorption of heat by deodorant this way is significantly higher than the rate at which the body can replenish the heat lost by the skin. This reduce the skin temperature and makes it feel cool.
Perfume is based on alcohol or another liquid. The liquid evaporates, often quickly. When liquids evaporate, they remove heat from the surface they are evaporating from - in this case, from your skin. When you remove heat from your skin, you feel cold.
This is the same physical process that happens of you spray yourself with water on a hot day to cool off.
Perfumes contain a high amount of alcohol and alcohol evaporates quickly. Evaporation involves the absorption of energy and is a cooling process.
It is because the spray droplets have lower temperature than your body and heat is transferred from your body to the droplets that gives you sensation of cold.
Because there is cologne
You smell perfume because after it is sprayed it stays on the skin (or other surface)and dries. It is still around even though you can't see it or feel it.
this is because of inert gases present in perfume
To the touch your skin is warm. When you reach in something cold such as a fridge or freezer the temperature difference is what makes your hands feel cold.
Rubing hands creates friction due to which heat is produced and you feel warmth; the same reason your body shivers when you are cold, the extra movement creats heat for your body.
Because when your hands are dip into the cold ice water, your hands became cold. But when you take out of the ice cold water, it is still cold .But the forehead got a temperature so it will feel warmer and become more hot after a few minute
You've got it backwards. The superstition is "cold hands, warm heart" and it means that someone with cold hands is said to be a very "warm" or loving and generous person.
because the cold energy is moving toward the warm energy and the cold is taking over.
you have the flu
Because perfume is a liquid and when you spray it,the liquid is absorbed into your skin or clothing and you feel a bit wet,for some time.
the hot water will feel much hotter than it actually is. This is because the nerves that sense temperature feel cold or warm. Hot causes both types to fire. When your hands are cold, and you put them into hot water it can cause those nerves to fire more then they normally would. Also, if your hands are cold enough, the blood will be thickened, and the vessels will be constricted. Suddenly plunging your hands into hot water will cause the vessels to expand, sending the thickened, cold blood rushing up towards your heart which can cause a heart attack.
Acetone has a very low boiling temperature. when we put some acetone on our palm the particles of it gains energy from our palm and evaporates quickly which causes cooling.........
Thank God, I am retired now, but went through the the same thing for years. No amount of sweaters helped me. All they would do would be to make my torso sweat, while my hands remained cold. I finally started bringing a small ceramic heater to work and kept it on under my desk for as much of the day as needed. Just be careful you use a heater that is safe.
