when they made the constitution, there were federalists and antifederalists. the antifederalist found that the constitution did not guarantee individual rights so they didn't like it. they made a compromise to add the Bill of Rights amendments to the constitution. all of the rights are to make sure every citizen has the same rights and they have freedom. you should look up bill of right amendments and meanings and you will see some advantages we have with rights and the freedoms we have:
