Because the US is so much bigger and everything is run different in the US compared to NZ. NZ has a very multi cultural society and doesn't have many human rights issues. We also hardly ever go to war with people and don't like making people hate us. Our population is only 4 million unlike the US and also NZ is in the Southern Hemisphere and does not have states. Pretty much everything is different because the size is so different and we are in different parts of the world.
