Binary code suitable for computers because computer is an electronic device that's why it can understand only electrical signals.In binary language all type of data is represented in the form of 0's and 1's stream, that can be converted easily into electrical signals because electrical signals also have two states we can say these states are off or on state,high or low so this can be converted in the form of 0's and 1's stream.Here 0 is known as off state and 1 is known as on state generally.

Because Binary is the code the computer uses to run even read disc's on a disc if it's engraved its 1 if not its 0(not able to be seen by a naked eye only under a microscope)
