the brakes have been blead by a Ford dealer twice
Under the dash near the brake pedal lever.
And why in the world would you want to do that, as the rear brakes which are operated by the parking brake are already activated by the brake pedal. Do not even think of doing this.
located at the upper end of the brake pedal under dash area
check your anti lock brake systemm as this is what it supposed to do . It pulsates so that it will not lock up
4 nuts under the dash around the brake pedal
Check the operation and alignment of the brake light switch, located at the upper end of the brake pedal under the dash area
Should be passenger kick panel, if not look up behind the brake pedal on the fire wall.
The 2002 F-150 owners manual states the fuse panel is below and to the left of the steering wheel , by the brake pedal
I would just run new wires from the fuse box or trace the old ones and run new. You might want to check the switch on the top of the brake pedal which turns them on.
The inertia switch is located on the driver's side of the firewall to the left of the brake pedal or behine the right kick panel.
the brake light switch is located on the brake pedal, near the top. You will have to take off the cover right under the steering wheel to really be able to see it. Hope this answered your question
CHECK THE FUSE FOR THE BRAKE INTERLOCK TO SEE IF ITS BLOWN.IF THATS NOT THE PROBLEM THEN ITS MOST LIKELY GONNA BE THE BRAKE SWITCH WHICH IS LOCATED UNDER THE BRAKE PEDAL.
