Best Answer

Due to increased life span of people all over the world and simultaneously huge medical claims being submitted with the insurance company, the insurers are no other alternative than to increase health insurance premium to sustain the market. From the above two angles, health care coverage costs are too high now a days.

What is Health care coverage outside of the US?

Many countries have better health care coverage than we do. German health care is very good and they cover all of their people. The Swiss and Swedes have excellant care, but they pay high taxes for the services they get. The English and Canadian governments have good health care. If you get hurt as tourist in many of these countries you are taken care of just like the citizens of the country. Russia doesn't have good health care and I would leave the country before I would stay in a Russian hospital. The Spanish and Italian aren't bad, but I think the French are better. All in all for the amoiunt of medical knowledge that we have it is a shame that we don't take care of our citizens.
