However, as time goes on these collections will inevitably become more important towards detailing Australia's cultural, social, literature, cuisine, etc. of the past. Like I said before, any item could become important to Australian history. For example, a scrap piece of paper was signed by many Indigenous elders during the late 1980s as protest towards impoverished conditions they were living in.
