Why is there world hunger?

because some people can't afford and the richer people take all the money.

Answer 2:
Of the resources we need, food is a major limiting resource. If there were overall more food, there would end up being more people, and/or people would consume more, and thus people would still be hungry. It is a balance, where hunger can not be eliminated until it is no longer a limiting resource on our population, and other factors such as land or shelter are the major limiting factors to human population.

Secondly, the distribution of food moves not according to need, but capital, whether it be money, resources, or human intention.

Thirdly, world hunger is not made a large concern among most people. There is not a concerted effort to end it, because to do so would offer more work and little benefit to ourselves.
