Why is water molecule so important to organisms?

The water molecule is important to every organism. Water helps to break down other cells in the body to produce new cells and other vital things to continue life. Without water in the body or organism the body or organism will dehydrate and die. Without water things can not live. Also, too much water is called water intoxication. People and things can die from that as well because it slows down and ceases the production of cells and can also make cells swell up and cause death.
