It is normal for erections to have some degree of curvature in one direction or another, however there is a condition called 'Peyronie's disease'.
Peyronie's disease is a condition where the penis becomes painful on erection and twists to one side with a much higher degree, causing deformity. Sometimes the pain can be very intense.
Plaques or strands of fibrous tissue develop around the corpus cavernosum(cylinder of erectile tissue) of the penis causing a deformity on erection. It is a benign disease and self-limiting. Effective treatment is very difficult.
