Why is your penis bent when erect?

Most penis's have some sort of slight curvature (bend) either up or to either side or a combination of both. According to webMD it is actually unusual for a penis to be perfectly straight when erect. Severe curvature when painful or interferes with sexual intercourse is correctable.
It is normal for erections to have some degree of curvature in one direction or another, however there is a condition called 'Peyronie's disease'.
Peyronie's disease is a condition where the penis becomes painful on erection and twists to one side with a much higher degree, causing deformity. Sometimes the pain can be very intense.
Plaques or strands of fibrous tissue develop around the corpus cavernosum (cylinder of erectile tissue) of the penis causing a deformity on erection. It is a benign disease and self-limiting. Effective treatment is very difficult.

The cause is not known.

Your family Doctor will have more information on this.
