== == == == == == It's not just because your mouth is moist - your mouth is one of the dirtiest places in your body because of the bacteria left over from food you've eaten. That's why human bites are so nasty and get infected easily.

You need to keep your mouth as clean as possible if you want it to heal properly and prevent it from getting infected. Rinse with a warm saltwater solution after you eat, and make sure you brush first beforehand. While you can use mouthwashes, they're pretty harsh and you might find it a lot more painful that just warm saltwater. Use about 2 tablespoons in a cup of water.

----

It always takes the inside of your mouth longer to heal cause it's constantly moist.

it depends on how much gravy granules you put in when it was hot. the thicker the gravy was when it was hot determines the solidity of the gravy when its cold. it will never be completely solid but stodgy.
