Why do parents hate rated R movies or scary movies for their kids?

Ignorance. Sorry, but that sums it up. These parents are either truthfully ignorant as in they are not intelligent enough to understand the ramifications of allowing children to see movies outside of the context which a child should be exposed to. Conversely, they do know, but do not care, thereby being insufferably ignorant. Additionally, people can be misguided enough (or ignorant) to believe that their children are okay with the subject matter/material. One last point of ignorance is apathy - they allow their children to watch so much crap on the tele that movies, in their ignorant opinion, are no worse. Sure, if you allow your child to watch HBO/Showtime movies intended for adults, it might not seem that far fetched to bring them along to the newest full frontal nudity offering. Still ignorant.
Another thought is that they are selfish and do not have adequate child care available, so ridiculously tote their tots to the theater for some good old fashion sex, drugs and rock-n-roll.

Most often they don't hate their parents. They hate them when something does not go their way ! They hate them when they have to be in earlier than what they hoped for ! They hate them when they are woken up for school or work ! Do you understand what I am saying ? It is not the parents they hate, it is what they are being asked to do that they hate. Most kids love their parents. No! there just so mad at there parents that they just can't dill with them so they just say I hate which is not a word you should say even to your parents because it hurts them so much you make they make it seem like they really hate there parents.
