Slipknot calles their fans maggots because they are their loyal fans and their like maggots because they feed off of the music. That's why they get crazy at concerts and they spread the word.
The reason why is because maggots feed on food to survive so we(Maggots) feed on Slipknots(food) to survive. Pulse of the Maggots was written to show that maggots are cool people and you can't destroy them!!! Stay (sic)
Yes and no but mostly yes
Most decomposers are insects. Flies, maggots, beetles, ants and roaches are forms of insect decomposers. Other decomposers known as scavengers are vultures, hyenas, and possums.
Joey Jordison often uses the phrase 'maggot' to call his band mates the word was then used by Slipknot's fans as a way of referring to each other. It basically means that the fans feed off there music. It's not a demeaning label like most people think it is.
There is no one called Maggot in Slipknot. however slipknot fans are called maggots its a semi-derogatory term but they can say what ever they want to me i dont care, on the subliminal verses track 9 called "Pulse of The Maggots" meaning that slipknot fans would die without slipknot

Maggots are not considered to be autotrophs. They are the larva of flies and mosquitos. They feed on dead and decaying matter and are important in the medical and ecological worlds.
Sparrow's feed mostly on seed but you can give them live worms/maggots as well.

Flies are drawn to the rotting material and get inside of it and lay their eggs. When the eggs hatch, there are the maggots. They then feed on the rotting meat.
Flies get into the bin to lay eggs usually attracted to meat carcasses. They lay eggs which develop to maggots so they can feed on the food in your bin and turn into flies!
No. However, flies may lay their eggs in the flesh of a dead horse, and these become maggots which feed on the rotting flesh until they hatch into flies.
It only takes a few hours for maggots to appear on rotting meat. The fly lays its eggs on the meat and maggots are born within a few hours.
