check your timing belt. it might be worn or off timed. also check to see if it's getting any spark when trying to crank it. if you are getting any spark, unbolt the distributor and move it around because you might not be firing off the 1st spark plug(which you need to be doing) while your moving the distributor around have someone turn the car over.
Its right above the ignition coil. Infact you have to remove it first to remove the ignition coil.
electronic ignition module
Most likely it is the Ignition Control Module.
Ignition module or fuel pump
Ignition module in the distributor.
A bad ignition module.
Could be ignition module
inside the distributor cap. there should be 2 sets of plugs that go to your distributor, those plugs go directly into ur ignitions module
because the computer isn't responsible for the actual triggering of the coil packs, it does affect when they fire but not the direct firing itself.. this is done by the ignition module which is controlled by the computer. so odds are that the ignition module itself is not working.
the proble is probably the ignition module....its a simple thing that went out on my caprice ....u can get it charged at auto zone for free...
where is the ignition module located on a 1988 Mazda b2200
The engine computer is the ignition module.
