brake light or lights out. all 80's n newer cars have this let me know if it is it
- vacuum check valve (under ignition on driver side)
- vaccum tank (in front of front driver side wheel)
- vacuum hose (all, including the one going to the vacuum release valve on the brake pedal)
- vacuum release valve on the brake pedal
- electrical switch on the brake pedal
- turn signal lever (cruise control)
- cruise control servo
- cruise control module (part of the digital dash), in particular the transistors driving the vacuum valves in the servo
Made a detailed article here. It is in french, post a personal message in the forum if you need help with translation or anything else. I had 3 issues in my cruise and cured them all including digital cluster problem.
If the cruise control on your 1987 300ZX does not work, you might have an issue with the cruise control fuse or wiring. You could also have a problem with the switch that turns the cruise control on and off.
First step might be checking the vacuum lines in the engine bay. If the cruise control unit does not get vacuum it will not work. Second, the brake light switch might be suspect at that age, it might be sticking or not working. Last, the buttons inside the car or the cruise control unit might have failed.
My front left (driver's side) brakes caught on fire and my cruise control hasn't worked since. You might want to check the connection from the cruise control to the brakes....
The most probable cause for your malfunctioning cruise control is a blown fuse. The fuse might have blown while you were changing your switch. The cruise control fuse can be found in the fuse box.
If the cruise control will not engage, there might be a problem with the Electronic Fuel Injector or the MAP Sensor. There might also be a problem with the Oxygen Sensor. Some autos have more than one oxygen sensor.
I assume you mean the aircraft and the automatic control device in your parameters. The obvious answer is no, for about the same reason such a device could not be practically applied to say, a construction crane, there are too many rapid adjustments and parameters, no ( cruise control) operation, so to speak. There might be something akin to power-shift or automatic transmission, but that is different.
Hello, Can't think of ideas of how you can break you're cruise Control repair, but the best thing to do is go to B and B (body and paint Fire Stone. Excedrea excedera) and see if they can repair the cruise control button and that's the easiest way to go but if the cruise control is really broken you might want to swap out the steering wheel
Are you sure EMC Might be ECM Electronic control modual most likely.
You need to check if your car is equipped with cruise control. to do so look at your vin number. the 8th letter should be C. if not the cruise control is located at the base of your right leg. sometimes it might be covered by a shoe, if so untie. good luck Jeff.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but if your horn and cruise control stopped working at the same time , it might be the clock-spring inside your steering wheel column cover . The clockspring allows a person to turn the steering wheel while still maintaining the electrical connections to your horn and cruise control buttons
A Chevrolet Silverado that has cruise control problems might be having a problem with the part of the engine that controls speed and fuel intake. One culprit for this problem is the Speed Control Sensor that is located in the transmission. This part can be easily changed because it is more or less a probe that fits into the rear of the transmission.
I have a 93 Caprice and the cruise went out a few times. Check the third brake light in the back of the window. If it is out replace it and this might fix the problem. Also check the fuse as it controls the cruise and third brake light as well.
It's on the combined turn-signal/cruise control/light switch lever on the left-hand side of the steering column. If you don't have an owner's manual, a GM dealer should be able to order one for you. You might also find them on eBay or Amazon.com.
Is your car on the re-call list for the cruise. Check with your local Ford dealer. They have to change the cruise module. No charge, even for that year. The old one, possible can cause a fire or short out.
Semiautomatic or semi-automaticAn automatic machine or device is able to operate independently of human control, and a "semi-automatic" version would or might require separate human control.Pistols, rifles, and other weapons are termed "semi-automatic" if they fire only one round for each operation of the trigger. An automatic weapon, or one in automatic mode, will fire continuously as long as the trigger remains depressed, until the magazine is depleted.
There is a vacuum leak OR/AND an malfunctioning injector
Might want to check the Idle Air Control valve. Also check the fuel pressure.
the abs/asc (automatic speed control) fuse in the driver kick panel.it is 5 amp fuse third one down from top.works abs & speed control (cruise).this is my guess but not totally sure. I checked all the fuses on mine; all were good. I removed 3 - 5/16" nuts & removed engine cover (top). Found the end of the cruise control cable connector (cheap plastic) had worn through, letting it separate from the throttle stub it connects to. (No cable hooked up?, cruise won't work) I put the connector back on the throttle knob, drilled a small hole in the end of the plastic connector & dropped in a small clip pin (a small cotter pin will work too) in to lock the plastic piece & prevent it from sliding off during acceleration. This in no way affected linkage, etc. & holds the cruise cable connector to the throttle where it belongs. Check this, it's easy to find, & might save you the $40 for a new cruise cable. I have pictures if you need the fix. Good Luck
The approximate base price for a Chevrolet Corvette is $54,600. And that is for a new 2013 Chevrolet Corvette. If you were to try an older one then you might be able to find a lower price for one.
Speed sensor might need replacing. Does the check engine light come on when driving?
I think you might be refering to a cruise getaway. A cruise getaway is when you go on a cruise ship and relax. I think if there is a cruise gateway ot would be the gateway to get on the cruise ship, like on a plane ride your wating to go on your standing in the depatrure gate.
You can purchase a 1957 Chevy Corvette different places. There are some car dealers, used or new, that might have them as traded cars, you can check your newspaper, you might find them at car auctions. There is also many Corvette Clubs, you might try to locate one in your area to see if they can help you purchase one.
might just have to pull all fuses one at a time and replace blown ones
If the 94 Camry is anything like the 92 Camry check the fuses under the hood on the left hand side and check the fuses there that's what i would guess.AnswerThese problems may be unrelated. The cruise control is often deactivated unintentionally by someone forgetting to connect the cruise control actuator connection. Make sure the connection is tight. It is under the front of the actuator by the radiator, on the inboard side of the battery.
well that depends if you ordered cruise control on the dash as a spectrometer setting , if so then the gauge might need re wiring due to there is will be a short circuit from where the cruise was and where it is now. Hope that helped, goodluck CiVicGuy3
