Unanswered prayers can lead to Atheism because mos people become desperate in there search for god. They however believe that if god can't answer their prayers then he can't exist. This however is a wrong way to take it because you don't know if the prayer will be answered later in life.
It's possible that some people become angry that a prayer didn't work as planned and want to be identified as an Atheist out of spite. But, since the position of an Atheist is the rejection of all god claims, it's impossible to be angry with what is considered by an atheist to be, not real. So, if a persons unanswered prayer leads to being an atheist, since thery're angry at a god, they are not truely an atheist at all, just an angry theist.
The fact that God never answers prayers is usually not enough, by itself, for people to become atheists. However, when considered alongside the absence of any evidence that God exists and the evidence that the concept of God evolved out of a more primitive 'pagan' religion, this can affirm a reason to become an atheist.
It's probably because if someone prays for something and it doesn't happen, they conclude there's no-one listening.
For the same reason that, after knocking on someone's door for a long time, you would assume that no one is home!

Ctholics may respond to unanwered prayers by becoming agnostic (not sure about god) and may believe God does not want to answer their rayers. God does not answer selfish prayers but if it was a good prayer then he would answer it in his own time to fit in with his own prayers and they way he wans to answer the prayer. Catholics may think God will answer the prayers straight away and give them a sign or just simply fix their problems straight away. But that is not how God answers prayers but instead will answer them in his own time the way he wants. An example of a selfish prayer: e.g. praying for wealth or love, this won't be answer by God because it is selfish. But an example of a prayer that will be answered is: e.g. Praying for sick one's.Summary:-Selfish Prayers-Becoming AGNOSTIC-Not answering prayers the way they would like.-Year 11 Girl, St.Peters, Southbourne, Jess.Catholic AnswerThe only way that a Catholic should respond to the problem of "unanswered prayers" is by talking with their spiritual director or confessor and realizing that there are no such things as "unanswered prayers", God always answers prayers. The problem that people have to realize is that He often says "no" as we ask wrongly, or ask for the wrong things. However, when He says "no" He always gives us something better than we asked for. Our job is to align ourselves with His Will. So if we think that God isn't answering our prayers, we have a lot of work to do so that we may recognize His Will, and grow in prayer so that we may conform ourselves to His Will. To think that God is not answering your prayers and so to leave the Church or become agnostic is just compounding the problem.
How this may lead to agnosticism or atheismScience can explain where the world came from and where humans came from without any reference to God. This may lead some people to be agnostic, that is, they are unsure whether or not there is a God. For them, the argument that you need God to explain why we are here is no longer valid.Other people may be led to become atheists, that is, they are sure there is no God. They believe that, if God exists, he must have made the world and he must be the only explanation of the world. The scientific explanation of the world and humans without any reference to God is proof to such people that God does not exist.

It is most unlikely that prayer is considered offensive by rational people or anyone in authority. Followers of almost all religions pray - Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Zoroastrians, and so on. And just as the followers of each religion have their own prayers, they generally respect the prayers and religious customs of the people who follow other religions. Even atheists, while not believing in the efficacy of prayer, nevertheless respect the right of others to pray. While prayer, in itself, is not and should not be offensive, it isimportant that the followers of any one religion do not seek to impose their prayers on those who hold other beliefs. Some societies restrict prayers in schools and other public areas, to protect the rights of those who do not wish to join in the prayers of others.
Some Jews become Christians, some Christians become Jews and even more Jews become atheists, or "secular Jews". A healthy society should see conversions from one to the other, in each direction.Jewish answer:No. Jewish converts to Christianity will be, and have always been, a minority.
A:First of all, we know that if we pray often enough, at least some of our prayers will seem to have been answered. When they are, that good fortune can be attributed to the favour of the god or gods. When they are not, we realise that the gods will never answer all our prayers. The gods also become angry with their human subjects and can bring about calamity. The late Jewish prophets explained that God had become angry with the Jews, and that this was the reason for the Babylonian Exile. Only by re-establishing his favour were they able to return to Jerusalem.
