Aids is somewhat both because when it is acute it is when you have the symptoms of aids that you can treat and it can get taken care of by antibiotics. No because antibiotics are ineffective when it comes to viruses. Viruses don't respond to them. sometimes it can help stop what pain your in, but it doesn't go away.
A returning or persisting disease or symptoms for 6 months or more would be referred to as a chronic disease.
Go to the doctor. They give you antibiotics and it'll go away in a day or two. :)
