# Why people don't travel at speed of light?

According to Einstein's theories we cannot travel at the speed of light, only close to it. There are many theories on how we can travel near (or beyond) the speed of light.

If you travel at the speed of light, 4.2 years. If you travel at the speed of the fastest space craft that we have now, such as voyager at 35000 mph, then it will take Approximately 134,433.2 years to travel that distance. Pack a lunch. And as per the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, dont forget your towel.

i dont know so tell me i dont know so tell me

Yes it is.Becuse it is the upper limit of speed, i dont know the reason.

Each ereader can contain many books while being compact and light , and people dont have to carry a bunch of books with them in a bus or to a travel.

it can, we just dont know how yet, but when we do, i think that ther will be a great blinding light and then if we go faster than that speed, if you look backwords you will see the light trying to catch up with you It is not possible for an object to accelerate to the speed of light relative to its starting frame of inertial reference. At least, not in space as we understand it today. You may not believe this part: we are all traveling at light speed when we are at rest. Objects at rest travel through timeat light speed. Einstein said E=mc2 meaning that to reach light speed (c) an object must have infinite energy (no such thing) also as an object accelerates it gains mass until at c it becomes infinite in mass

because you stink of milk and i dont know so hahahahaha

they go by boat because they dont have many roads

light travels slower because solids are denser than other forms and he particles dont let light pass through them easily

A very good way to travel cheaply is to make sure you maintain the speed on the interstate...dont go over the speed limit, this will save gas. Also pack lunches and drinks instead of buying them.

dont know what you want to adjust? speed? depth? indicator light?

Light does not travel around ... light travels in a straight l ine ... unless there is a massive gravitational source. But this question is lacking an object in the sentence, so I really dont know what you are trying to ask.

they walked unless they rid some animal we dont know about

This depends how fast you are driving and if you want to include traffic in your calculation or not.If you dont want to include traffic, then divide the distance by the speed you traveling at.For example:If you travel at speed of 50mph then 100miles / 50miles/hour = 2 hoursIf you travel at speed of 30mph then 100miles / 30miles/hour = 3.333 hours = 3 hours 20 minutesIf you travel at speed of 65mph then 100miles / 65miles/hour = 1.538 hours = about 1 Hour and 32 minutes

Light is considered a self-propagating wave. So it does not need a medium, which is why it reaches the earth from the sun. The mediums which dont absorb the light (and therefore allow light to travel through it) depend on the wave length of light. For example a gamma ray (has a very short wavelength) can travel through metal and takes a block of lead to absorb it.

the seriosly obviose one- one is for light the othe is for sound, if you dont know which is which then you need some help.....

sound waves dont always go at mthe same speed because they change speed depending what they are going though e.g. they go faster though hard things and slower though softer.

yes starfish do travel in groups but they dont travel that much

if we dont get light we will not be on earth

The fastest thing in the world is light, or light particles. The move at a speed of 186,000 miles per second. I hope this helps :)

The protons inside the fumes of the light bulb emit light when it is mixed with electricity. That is why people say dont break the spiral light bulbs because the fumes can severely harm you.
