Sharks find their prey using their noses. They can smell something from miles away! They also have tiny holes near the tip of their snout that pick up the electromagnetic fields of other animals, allowing the shark to find it from long distances. THROUGH LITLLE HOLES AROUND THERE MOUTHS THAT PICK UP MAGNETIC FIELDS. E VEN VERY SMALL ONES.
How do sharks find mates?
First as a female reaches a certain point of maturity, she then attracts her mate by releasing hormonal chemicals. Depending on the shark, the chemical may vary.
After the chemical release, the males will start rounding and circling the female shark to show interest. Some of the time there will be a fight over a female because more than one male shark is interested in mating with the female. The dominant or overriding male will then mate with the female.
Amazingly, sometimes male sharks will bite the female to show interest. Because of strong, thick skin the male mostly never hurts the female.
Sharks are attracted to blood and smelly farts. If there is ever a shark attach try not to poop alot because that will attract more sharks because of shark sugar. Most of the time if there is a shark attack a helicopter will come to assist but the helicopter will not attract more sharks to come.

The statistical data demonstrates, sharks also are attracted to yellow, white and silver.
The reflective light is the attraction, e.g. fish, etc. Shiny jewelry, watches, etc. should be removed when entering the ocean.
Sharks attack humans because sometimes they mistaken us for other animals such as seals, otters or other animals whien we flop around, and how we are dressed in wet suits. Contrary to common beleif, sharks hate eating humans, they can't stand the taste of us. That's why humans are usually spat back out, but sometimes its too late by then.
___________________________
If they are disturbed during mating or feeding periods, they are most likely to attack, and also especially towards surfers because their boards make them look like seals when they are paddling out.
A few things that could attract a shark to a human is blood (which can also cause a feeding frenzy) and a human paddling out to catch some waves (Surfing) looks like a seal so that can also attract sharks, however sharks have a keen sense of smell so it is more likely that blood will attract sharks.
Depends on the species.
Some are ambush hunters, some are filter feeders, some hunt by speed.
Sharks just swim around hunting for their prey. They need to eat only fish and star fish. they need to eat alot meat
Because if the shark believes that you are going to harm him, he will defend himself, but he might just be hungry. . .

Yes humans can eat sharks, but it is starting to be prohibited in many places because many shark species are becoming endangered.
Humans are not sharks favorite food. They are mainly attracted to humans because of the thrashing caused by swimming . To them, it's signals an injured animal. The reason sharks are attracted to black, is that from below, surfers or divers in a wetsuit appear like seals, which IS one of their more favorite meals.
