Why shortages of all blood types occur more during summer and winter holidays?
One would think this would be obvious. More people traveling means more people having accidents, and accidents, and associated injuries, would require more blood and blood products. And people travel more during the holidays, particularly people who don't generally travel at all and so are more prone to get confused and cause or get involved in accidents.
Basically four types according to geography. Mountainous- too cold during winter , and cold during summer. Hill - Cold during winter and moderate during summer Terai or plan part(border of India mostly) - too hot during summer and too cold during winter. The Summer Olympics are held during the summer and have summer sports and competitions. The Winter Olympics are held during the winter and have winter sports and competitions. Both Olympic competitions are held every four years, but Winter Olympics are held two years after the most recent Summer Olympics.
