Harald Hardraaada should be king because, his relatives have all been king for the past 28 years, also because he is wealthy and powerful!!! Harald Hardraaada also wanted to be king because, he was as good as any other king in the 11th century, he was a power and rich landowner and popular with most of the richer people in England. A man said that Land, money, power and the ability to keep other people on your side make a good king because, they bring stability and peace to the population. ( to Harald)
Harald should have been king because he was supported by Tostig Godwinson Harold's brother. Also he was related to King Cnute who was king of England before Edward seized the throne. He had a very large army and he said if he doesn't get the crown he would invade.

Harald Godwinson was King of England in 1066 from January 5th until he was killed at the battle of Hastings on 14th October 1066 by the army of William Duke of Normandy.
Note it is : Harald Hardrada (not) Harold HardraadaHarald Sigurdsson (1015 - September 25, 1066), was the king of Norway from 1047 until 1066. He was also claimed to be the King of Denmark until 1064 and was later given the epithet Hardrada. He is generally remembered for his invasion of England in 1066. He won his first battle, the Battle of Fulford, south of York, on 20 September. However he was then defeated and killed at the Battle of Stamford Bridge, outside the city of York, England, on 25 September 1066. Harald's death is often recorded as the end of the Viking era.At the Battle of Stamford Bridge, Harald Sigurdsson fought Harold Godwinson, King of England and it was this Harold who was defeated (and killed) at the Battle of Hastings by William the Conqueror on 14 October 1066.
It was Harald Hardrada's army to attack England first! :)
