The Axis were so successful in the beginning of the was because Britsh and French leaders tried to apease Hitler and caused the aggresor ti be more aggresive
The Allies came to fight WW II the same way as they fought WW I. Only in Germany were fresh thinkers allowed to flurish. The fact is it was an Englishmen Fuller who wrote a book about future armored warfare that cuaght the eye of Gudarian the father of the Panzer divion Fullers theries were dismissed by the old guard of british generals. The thinking of French generals is laughable.

1. Blitskreig: lightning war, a military tactic used by Germany. It was extremely mobile, involving air support, mechanized infantry, and tanks.
2. British and French leaders appeased all of Hitler's demands that went against the treaty of Versailles. This gave Hitler confidence, and helped to strenghthen Germany before the war.
3. The use of submarines in war.
4. The unprepardness of the allies for war.

∙ 16y agoFirstly, Germany was not attacked on two fronts like in World War I because Germany signed a treaty with the Soviet Union not to attack each other for an amount of time, and Germany and the USSR would split Poland.
The US also did not join WW2 until much later.

∙ 11y agoThere were actually a number of reasons. The Germans had a large army, basically because Hitler broke the rules of the Treaty of Versailles and started arming his country up again. Then there was the fact that the German invasion took people by surprise. People were expecting war, but not so quickly. Then, another reason was that the Germans and their allies had a very efficient spying force, with many undercover agents in different countries. They were able to find traitors pretty easily, and were ruthlesswhen dealing with them.

∙ 11y agoWell after the azis lost at the battle of stalingrad, if germany retreated ammediantly and didnt fight, they could build up more troops, tanks and aircraft then send a massive assult to the soviets then they would lost almost all of their production and moscow would of been captrued by nazi germany and the soviet would surrenderd then the azis could invade briton and South Africa simutaniasly and take othe the country, that how would axis won the europian war and if germany bombed Washinton DC and killed the US president, then they would survive.
