People liked Jacqueline for many reasons. Many women liked the way she dressed, the way she presented herself to the cameras, and what she had to say about living her life on her own terms. Many Americans admired her courage during the period following her husband's assassination in 1963, after being First Lady for three years, which had won her many admirers in that regard.

Jacqueline Kennedy is famous first and foremost for being the next direct victim of the assassination of President Kennedy, since she was right next to him when he was fatally wounded and when he died. She then was the center of the attention of a grieving people during the planning and orchestration of his state funeral.

She has a personality that is very compelling as a mother, wife, socialite, student, and editor. I was drawn to Jackie initially because of her husband, President John F. Kennedy, but the more one finds out about her, the more interesting she becomes.
