1 risk Sacagawea had to take in order for her to become a member of the expedition was strap her baby boy to her back and travel with him. reason number 2 is she had to make sure she was not sick because getting sick on the boat would mean more time to succeed in the trip. Although she did not make sure she was healthy because she ended up being very sick, Lewis and Clark had to take care of her in a small tent on the boat. A 3rd reason is, she had to say good bye to her husband. Although he was 40 years old and she was a teen.
three risks of Sacagawea were....
1.) being pregnant and taking a baby with her on the expedition
2.) Lewis and Clark could have set a trap and killed her and her child
3.) keeping her baby nourished throughout times of starvation
The risks sacagawea took on her journey was she had a choice to stay with her people the shoshones but instead she decided to keep on going on the journey. Also another risk is she had a choice to have a child. It would just slow her down on the journey.
well, i know she risked her life, and her baby's life.
