∙ 11y agoSoldiers joined the Crusades because they wanted to fight. The Church didn't want them fighting for land so they told the soldiers to fight for the Church and in doing so, they would be guaranteed a place in heaven. Some also did it for the fame and fortune.

∙ 12y agoWel 3 religions christains muslims and jews were fighting over jerusalem and they all waned it so.. it became a big ordeal, and crusades formed
