Why was the Camaro made?
The Chevy Camaro was made as a response to the popular Ford Mustang. Like the Mustang, it has remained a popular sporty model which is still produced nearly 50 years after its inception.
I honestly dont know how many were made but i own a 89 camaro with t-tops sorry I wasnt much help on your question tho. I currently own an '89 camaro with T-tops and know that there was a production of a mere 184,000 camaro's in all and about maybe about 15,000 T-Top production cars were made that year.
No, it will not fit without major modification. The front end of the 1993-1997 Camaro is much different from the 1998-2002 models. Any 1993-1997 Camaro bumper will fit the car in question without any modification unless the bumper was made by an after-market company. In that case, unless the company guarantees it, it may not fit properly.
There is no such car as a 2009 Camaro. GM just came out with a 2010 Camaro which is now available. Before that the last Camaro was made in 2002. 403H.P. from the 6.2 liter V8. Actually the 6.2 liter V8 with stick has 426 HP, I also believe the automatic version has 420 HP with the same motor. Someone would have to answer for the six cylinder versions.
