Why was the Iraq war illegal?

All wars are illegal because People kill other people. You or me or any other people aren't allowed to kill anyone unless were in the military. Killing people in anyway is illegal.

It has never been considered illegal by any actual Government source or anything other then the extremist left leaning positions. Even President Clinton, the individual that started this ball rolling, admits this was a legal and needed action. You are listen to extreme viewpoints.

The United Nations considered it an aggressive position, but did sanction it under their sanctions. It was an act under this body that called for the use of force.

The intelligence gathered to determine that Iraq had WMD's was from the Clinton Administration. It was also President Clinton that promised the use of force, not Bush. President Bush merely carried out the promise. To not do so would have been a serious issue.

Saddam had killed hundreds of thousands of his own people using these WMD's. To not go into Iraq would have been equal to condoning the murder of these people. ANYONE that says we should not have gone in is saying that they condone murder by dictators. They are terrible humans.

There is a link of the authorising use of force by the United States that was voted on by BOTH sides of the isle.

Yes. If you are going to help a country and its people, you do it in a civilized and diplomatic way. The country was destroyed and the people have no homes and were forced to seek refuge in other countries that have the same injustices as their country. What was the point of it and why was Saddam Hussein killed for it? Why aren't other leaders treated the same way? Like Canada and USA and the rest of the world. Why are we always pointing fingers when we are not perfect ourselves? Why are we in other people's business when we are not perfect ourselves. Why do we think that we can tell other people how to live their lives when we are not good citizens ourselves? Hypocrites and cowards.
