∙ 13y agoThey had two stories. The first was the myth of Romulus and Remus and the second was the story in the Aeneid, that Rome was founded by refugees from Troy. However, Virgil, in the Aeneid, combines the two stories, saying Aeneas came first, before Romulus, as in the verses where Aeneas' father shows him the men of the future. Romulus was one of them.
