I have no idea what you mean by your term presented. However, Christians got into trouble for several reasons. Read the book of Acts in The Bible. Christians threatened those making their living selling idols. That was big business. Christians threatened the sooth sayers. That was big business. Christians took care of the poor. That threatened the social order. Christians refused to worship the Roman Gods.
You had people who threatened the corruption in the religious institutions and the corruption in the political institutions. That frightened those in charge. Can you imagine what would happen today if Christians began living like Christians?
