Each angle in an equilateral triangle is 60 degrees. In order to create a regular tessellation of an area, we need for the angles of the polygons we are putting near each other to sum to 360 degrees. If you place six equilateral triangles so that all of them share a vertex, and each triangle is adjacent to two others, you get 60*6 = 360 degrees in that vertex. Please see related link for a demo of a triangular tessellation.
An equilateral triangle, a square and a hexagon.
There is no such thing as a regular isosceles triangle. The only regular triangle is an equilateral triangle. Having said that, any triangle will produce regular tessellation.
No only three can tesselate. they are: An equilateral triangle, a square and a 6 sided hexagon.
Any where the angles of 3 or more of the shape that meet at a point can add up to 360°, namely an equilateral triangle, a square and a hexagon.
YES!! It will tessellate. Ask me more questions!!!
Yes. Any triangle will tessellate.

yes
False: A triangle will only tessellate if it's in the form of an equilateral triangle.

Equilateral triangle, square and regular hexagon.
It will tessellate if its vertices divide into 360 degrees evenly. The only regular polygons that will tessellate are an equilateral triangle, a square and a regular hexagon. There are other, non-regular, polygons that will tessellate.
equilateral and isoceles triangles, squares, rectangles and hexagons. equilateral and isoceles triangles, squares, rectangles and hexagons. * * * * * ALL triangle and ALL quadrilaterals will tessellate. There are 15 pentagons as well as 3 convex hexagons which will tessellate. No polygon with 7 or more sides will tessellate.
