Check your anti-freeze levels
if the heater does not blow out warm air change the setting.
heater on at idle and will not blow warm air. when moving it blows the warm air from the vents. what will cause this
Isn't a heater supposed to blow warm air?
The thermostat is not the issue. The thermostat regulates the engine temperature, but not the heater core temperature. There is a valve going to the heater core that is not closing all the way. It may be broken, clogged, or not actuating.
probably because its old. take it to a garage, they'll tell ya ....check the heater control valve.and thermostat..................and the other answer is a waste of time.....................
It could be that you need coolant or it's low.
It could be the thermostat on the engine. If the engine does not warm up adequately the heater will never blow hot air.
Yes.
The heater core is plugged. Blow it out with a compressor. If that does not work replace the heater core.
Heater core may be plugged . Flush the cooling system, also check thermostat.
If the fan is not blowing, a fuse may be the cause. If there is just not warm air being blown by the fan, check your coolant level in your radiator. Low level of water and coolant will cause the heater to blow cooler air.
Blocked heater core, faulty heater valve, disconnected connection to the heater valve.
