Why won't Kenmore 253.28432800 freezer temperature drop to zero?
Probably iced up. defrost it for a couple of hours and try it again. Happened to mine, would only go down to 20 or so, then 30 or so. Had to move all my frozen to another freezer. Thawed it out and now it gets down to 0 with the temp setting set on 5.
It's always colder when you take it out than it was when you put it in, and if it stays in the freezer long enough, then it freezes. When the temperature of pure water drops to 32 degrees F, ice begins to form. This temperature is referred to as the freezing point. If other substances are added to the water, such as sugar or salt, the temperature must drop below 32 degrees F before ice…
Water. Although it's not really that it freezes faster but rather that it freezes at a higher temperature. How fast something freezes has to do with both its freezing point but also how much of it you have. A drop of alcohol will freeze faster than a giant container of water (assuming the temperature of the freezer is below the freezing point of alcohol).
it doesn't drop, it increases -------- Although increased temperature (fever) is a common symptom of sickness, some people do often experience a temperature drop when sick. Certain viruses may cause this reaction. Although this doesn't really explain why, rest assured that a temperature drop when sick is normal for many people.
What can happen if you had a sudden drop on boiler steam pressure without a corresponding drop in boiler water temperature?
It varies, but tornadoes usually form in warm weather and are followed by a temperature drop. This is because warm air has more energy to power the storms that produce tornadoes. The temperature near the tornado may be a bit lower as the air will likely have been cooled somewhat by rain. There would be another temperature drop inside the tornado itself as a result of the pressure drop.
Aspirin at standard conditions (room temperature and 1 atmosphere of pressure) is solid already. If you drop the temperature to your household freezer (around -10° to 0° C they will degrade at a slower rate. The product probably has not been tested for stability at conditions outside of standard conditions so the best that you can count on is that the drug will remain effective until its expiration date that is stamped on the bottle…
