Why won't Christmas be on Thursday again until 2025 after this year 2014?

Due to leap years a day will be skipped. It is on Wednesday in 2019, but because 2020 is a leap year, it will jump an extra day, so instead of Thursday it will be a Friday. Here is the list of years. Leap years have a star after them.
