Check The wires on gear boxmost cars will have a reverse switch attached, autos will also have a neutral switch
There is a switch in the transmission that is either bad or the wiring ot it is broken. In earlier models it was on top of the transmission, where you had to remove the console to get to it. I suspect that they may have moved it to the driver side of the transmission. It looked like a bolt with a wire comming out of it. It should be visible if it is on the side. if you don't see it then it maybe still on the top of the transmission and you may have to remove the center console or if there is none then there may be a plate under the rug that will allow access.
good luck.
Your 1999 Chevy blazer doesn't have a timing belt.
I don't understand...what's the question? Yes, that's a fairly common bulb size for tail lights or backup lights in late 90s and on autos. I have the same bulbs in my wife's Chevy S10 Blazer. Wagner 12V 3057 bulb. I don't understand...what's the question? Yes, that's a fairly common bulb size for tail lights or backup lights in late 90s and on autos. replae backup light switch on transmission
The lights on the odometer on a 1999 Chevy Blazer might not work because of a burned out fuse. They might also not work if the lights are burned out.
No, they will need replaced if defective.
The alternator is failing.
A blown fuse can make your dashboard lights to not work in your 1993 Chevy Blazer Tahoe. A burned out bulb can also cause this.
We replaced the temperature gauge in my 1991 Chevy blazer what is the normal operating temp?
DRL = daytime running lights
switch is on side of transmission under the car
a repair guy needs to do that for you.
one of the lights is not working
The 2001 Chevy Blazer brake lights may not work and the third bake stays on because the current light needs to be replaced. A replacement brake light can be purchased at an Auto Parts store like Pep Boys.
does that year have carb or tb?
either your fuse is blown or the wiring is bad
Yes, the doors from a 98 Chevy Blazer will fit a 2001 Chevy Blazer with a little moderation.
The fuse or relay for power windows on a 2002 Chevy Blazer is located under the dash near the emergency brake. It can be readily replaced by pulling it out.
About the only thing they have in common is the headlight switch. Have it checked out.
Are you sure you didn't turn the dimmer down
On the driver's side of the transmission (range select cable is attached to it).
Check your starter, and all power connections.
Chevrolet replaced the blazer in 1995 with the Tahoe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Tahoe
Probably a blown fuse. What you need to find out is why the fuse blew.
If a windshield wipe arm is loose on a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer, it likely needs to be replaced. It probably has a broken connection.
