Elect. fan for the rad. most likely a bad sensor.

Iive got a 1992 crown vic and i got 22's on it and it doesnt rub any. People were trying to tell me they wont fit but i did it any way. I can turn as sharp as I want and my rims dont rub at all. Take it as you want though.
First check you battery. Use a volt meter must have more than 12.2 volts, if under 12 volts, charge or change battery. No volt meter, then turn on your headlights, if good, then check shifter, in park and in neutral. If no headlights, charge battery.
no it wont work ur 1996 thunderbird has a 4r70w aode trans which is an electronic trans, the 85 crown vic aod trans is not electronic it will probably bolt up... but not much else
You're either using the wrong key - or the lock is faulty.
Check the shifter lock-out on the brake pedal. also check all the fuses.
