its not your ignition its your crankshaft sensor that's the same problem i had.
Some possible problems when your vehicle cranks, but won't start are a bad crankshaft position sensor, or a faulty ignition switch. Another possibility is a loose or broken wire that runs from the sensor to the PCM.
changed cluster checked all fuses and they aer good no bad or broken wires going to o/d switch
The speed sensor wire is connected to the speed sensor and goes to the speed sensor relay switch. The speed sensor relay switch is connected to the computer by a separate wire.
I had the same problem, so I changed the throttle position sensor and the camshaft sensor as well...it worked for me, hope it works for you too. also change the map sensor that was the reason the light was on
your coolant level sensor is bad. change it.
its probably your brake light switch. jiggle the little sensor connected to the top of the brake pedal.
no spark check neutral safety switch / clutch "engaged" switch (?????) emergency fuel shutoff switch bad fuel pump ( should be able to hear that engage if you just turn the key one click forward but not to start)if its an automatic try it in neutral
the rear abs light sensor will stay on until the rear sensor is changed. this sensor is called a rear speed sensor, it cost about 25 dls for a new one. code eleven on code read out by veh's computer. a second cause can be a bad stop lamp switch code 13 on computer read out. this switch is about 15 dls and is located by the veh's brake peddle.
There should be a switch on the light itself to disconnect the sensor.
The ECT or the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor is a switch. This switch is located on the bottom of the radiator in the 1996 Camry.
"Check Engine" light comes on when you turn ignition switch on and should go off when engine cranks.
I have a outside motion sensor light and I need to re program the wall switch. How do I reprogram the wall switch? Thank you
Talk about identity crisis... This thing has 3 names:Neutral safety start switchTransmission range sensorManual lever position sensor/switchUs old-timers probably relate more to the neutral start switch though...Another name for it is PRNDL switch. Sounded out like "perndal switch"
The oil pressure sensor on a Dodge Caliber is under the intake manifold on the front of the engine.
ignition starter switch
Your ignition switch is worn out. you will need to replace it.
A limit switch turns on or off when the object being sensed reaches a specific location.A proximity sensor returns an analog signal indicating how far the object is from the sensor.
A photocontrol uses light to activate the switch. When the sensor does not detect light the circuit is broken and the switch is deactivated.
fan motor could be grounding internally Unplug the fan switch and ground the wire if the fan stops replace the switch. If not you have an open between the coolant sensor (switch) and the relay. The coolant sensor for the fan is not the same sensor for the computer/fuel injection.
Trans fluid press sensor/ switch c sensor
Trs is transmisson range sensor-(neutral safty switch)
A 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee engine that cranks but is not starting and has no dash gauges is experiencing an electrical system failure. This can be a result of a faulty ignition switch or damaged wiring.
Things to check: 1. spark, 2. crank sensor, 3. fuel pressure, 4. pcm codes, 5. fuel pump filter, 6. Inertia cut off switch, 7. fuel pump regulator. M.Swick
