The bulbs could be burned out, the fuse could be bad, the switch that turnes them on/off could be bad, or there could be a faulty wire somewhere in the circuit. This is all I can think of right away, I'd start by checking the fuse and replacing the bulbs, and if neither of those fix it, you may have to take it in to a mechanic to check the switch and circuit wiring unless you know a fair amount about electrical systems.
Why does your 2001 Nissan Pathfinder heater fan stay on high even after I try to shut it off?"
change your bulbs and see if that's it.
your serpin belt needs replaced
Typically when a vehicles high beams fail to function, you will not see the high beam indicator illuminate on the dash either. When the combination switch is prompted by the user to activate the high beams it makes a ground connection on one of the relays terminals, closing the relay and the high beams turn on. The relay could potentially be bad, or the contact from the switch has been compromised by corrosion, or dirt. It is also possible that the contact point has bent far enough that it is unable to make contact with the relay from years of using the switch.

Replace the bushings in the track bars that connect the rear axle to the vehicle.
An idle set too high can cause a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder to run at a high RPM in 5th gear. A bad transmission gasket can also cause this.
For optimum performance, you should use high-test or premium gasoline in your Nissan Pathfinder, as per Nissan's specifications. Using a lower octane gasoline can result in premature ignition which can in the long run damage your engine.
Only high beams work on my 93 Nissan maxima. Had new headlight put in but still doesn't work. What may this be? Thanks you so much
It is possible that the transmission bands are out of adjustment. They are not able to engage because of the maladjustment.
Your high beams work but your low beams do not because the switch is broken that switches between high and low beams. Electrical switches wear out.
Trouble code P0158 means: O2 Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2, Sensor 2)
the high beam indicator is only on when the high beams are on
press on the button under the cruse control that are on the control pod- while you have your low or high beams on.
how do you turn on high beams on 1979 corvette
High beams on vehicles are for when the road is really dark and the low beams aren't bright enough to see.
Low beams...high beams will light up the snowflakes and actually impair vision.
You should use low beams when driving in fog. It is more difficult to see driving with high beams in fog.
Low beams - high beams only light up the snow or fog which further impairs vision.
You need to turn your high beams down and ,after the car passes, you may turn them back to high beams
bad light switch.
There are several Cherokee models. The engines range from a straight 6 to a high output V8. The 91 Pathfinder had a 3 Lt V6 with 153 HP. The Jeep straight 6 is a 4 ltr with 195 HP, the High Output V8 is 4.6 Lt and develops 260 HP. I have a High Output with an aftermarket supercharger and performance chip. It dino's at 395 HP and will out run my own Ferrari. Even stock I am sure it is faster than a 91 Nissan pathfinder.
