well the transmission could be crapping out, but make sure youre using the right fluid and that you have enough in, Chrysler never made a good transmission in the early 90s though
A Chrysler LeBaron has a timing belt.

did you make sure the #1 piston was top dead center and that when you set your timing that the springs where without tension? if not its out of time
The scanner plug in is under the dash on the drivers side and is the OBD1 system
When not used, they do get stuck and hard to shift. I had this with my 93. I put it in neutral and forced it into 4 wheel low. After it went, it is now easier to shift into.
did the clutch cable come off? (if its a manual) that or there is a problem with the transmission.
push the little knob at the base of the shifter in front of it see if that will do it for you

go to autozone, they will print out a diagram for you, also...you can probably find it on the internet...just got done fixin mine..good luck!
Switch on brake pedal needs tightened replaced, or switch for lights needs tightened or replaced.
Follow the hose from the top of the radiator back towards the engine, where it connects is the thermostat housing, this can be removed by taking out the 2 bolts. - remember to replace the gasket!
the transmission cooler lines don't match. diameter of radiator hoses are not the same. it probably won't mount up to the vans radiator brackets.
