When you say "cooling fan", do you mean the radiator fan or the cabin air fan? If the radiator fan and the compressor are failing to come on, it could just be low refrigerant but in either case there is no guarantee that any single component would cause what you describe. It could be a fuse, relay, controls, connector or any of a number of possible causes.
No...That sensor is a pressure sensor.(located next to the condensor) It will not let the compressor run if the pressure is to low or to high,so the compressor wont be damaged. If it is unplugged the compressor wont come on at all.
Bulb in dash or sensor at t-case.
my headlights wont come on at night i changed the sensor and still not coming on
i just had this problem you have to either change the fan relay switch or the sensor because they could be old so they ar not telling the fans to react to when the car is getting hot. but i changed mines and they come on now
there is no reason what ever for lights not to work at night unless they are controlled by a light sensor. if they are controlled by a light sensor then u need a light sensor. if you have to switch the lights on manually the switch is defrective ,but if this was the case they would not work during the day either
Either bad transmission or the TPS sensor - I would shoot for the Throttle Position Sensor first.
YOU MHAVE TO WAIT FOR OVER FIFTY MILES OF DRIVING MAYBE 75 IF AFTER THAT IT WONT GO OUT THEN COMPUTER WILL HAVE TO BE RESET AT DEALERS
Either the car wont start or, it will not idle right (its going to fell like its going to turn off).
there is a sensor on the factory valve stems that need to be put on or adjusted
Either the fan is no good or the heat sensor in your radiator, that turns the fan on is not working!!
Most likely corrosion in the harness connector. Check the small connector terminals for a greenish colour or moisture. If present replace the coolant sensor connector
Usually when your battery light will not turn off, you either are about to have generator problems, you have a bad controller, or you have a bad sensor. You need to have someone check it out.
