well i had a problem with mine not starting i was told to replace the crank and cam sensor and it fired right up.
in the distributor
No start ,engine missfire
That would be the distributor.
It's right next to the throttle body.
yes it dose, it has a cam sensor and a crank sensor,
I had 91 van that did the same it was a senor by time beit on top
dont need it booboo If you don't need it why would the manufacture spend thousands of dollars developing and installing it. Answer- The camshaft and crankshaft sensors take the place of the ignition distributor, it tells the engine controller when to send a signal to the ignition coils that fire the spark plugs. No camshaft signal no start.
Daniel Senor's birth name is Daniel Samuel Senor.
Cam Postion Senor in a 92 is located inside the Distributer. Under the rotor. You can see the plug that goes to it on the under side of the Dist housing.
P1362 code indicates a faulty top dead center sensor. It could be the sensor or a distributor problem. There is also the off chance that it is related to the timing belt.
Senor in Spanish means sir.
It may run but the best course of action is to have it checked out right away. If the cam sensor is bad, the engine could be damaged beyond repair.
