"Crank" meaning the starter doesn't crank the engine over to start it, changing the engine oil should have nothing to do with it not starting. If the battery was weak and something was left on, it may have run the battery down.
Also check the engine oil level to be sure they put new oil back in or possibly left the drain plug loose and the oil drained out. If the engine was run with no oil in it, it could have seized the engine and it wouldn't crank over, in which case the engine is ruined.
could be bad bushings in the starter.
Just the crank. The flywheel is neutral.
no it wont just bolt on....
Was that the only code that caused you to replace it? Do you have it close enough to sense again.
There is a c-clipthat holds the crank in place, you just need to push it off and the crank comes off.
Just below the PS pump
YES, Just about everyone of them will.
its at back of engne just under the manifold
Its located on the passenger side of the motor its easier if u get under the truck u can see next to the distributer cab just take electrical plug off and remove screw with socket make sure truck is cold saves u alot of burning.
They are 5on 5 chevy just like all the others
yes just put one in my truck
How do you change a flywheel on a Chevy truck? You can remove either the engine or the trans. Once you have either removed just remove the bolts holding the flywheel in place.
