Why would 97 jeep wrangler 4 se take several tries to start after warming up but starts right away when cold?
I had a similar problem with my 1998 4.0L wrangler where it
would take alot of cranking to start warm but start pretty well
when cold. My problem was the fuel pressure regulator was busted. I
had to have the fuel sending unit replaced to fix the problem.
Also, before you do anything else, check for carbon deposits in
your throttle body, that could be contributing to the problem.
